Teen-proof SECURITY

Without Security, Strength is Nothing
As shown by the recent gun safe recalls, the manufacturing of electronic lockboxes by factories lacking basic security culture is a ticking time bomb. No matter how strong a pistol locking case looks like, if it can be opened with a paperclip in seconds after watching a video, it's useless as a security safe. At e-Stash, we designed INV'Z based on security best practices to ensure it is kid and teen-proof, not just a pointless gadget with a placebo 'security' sticker.

Strong PASSCODE

Brute-forcing a strong PIN is a losing battle
A safe with combination lock is susceptible to brute force attack if its code is too simple. By design, INV'Z delay a wrong PIN input so an attacker needs at least 15 s per try. Even for the shortest allowed PIN, it would take a full day non-stop to try half of the combinations! With up to 8 digits + secret it would take a lifetime!

FAIL-SAFE Latch

Independently block 3-Ways, just in case
In the unlikely event that one of the opening ways could somehow be breached, we added an extra security. When engaged, an independent secret latch lock the 3 catches in place, preventing their forced release no matter the way used (key, fingerprint or PIN). For example even if your PIN is compromised, only you know how to open a safe with the combination and disengage the security latch.

No Access HOLES

How many 'safes' can be opened by poking through a hole?
A common vulnerability stem from assuming that the latching mechanism doesn't need protection because it's "inside" the safe. If the case has holes or easy to rip apart plastic covers / keypad, its integrity is compromised. INV'Z only has essential holes that are obstructed by design, blocking any potential path to the inner mechanism. Moreover the latching system is fully enclosed by a steel cover inside the safe and the catches are locked in place by an independent latch.

No Reset BUTTON

Reset buttons are an exploit waiting to happen
If your safe has a reset/password button, it's very likely that you can find exploit videos online. Often, all it take for the attacker is a paperclip squeezed under the lid to reset or set a new passcode. INV'Z factory reset doesn't rely on a physical button, instead it uses an admin menu requiring authorization first. It is also safe: Clearing fingerprints or resetting PIN disable each opening way until a fingerprint is added or a code is set.

STEALTHY Input

Hide PIN input from sneaky eyes
Enable Stealth Mode to display **** instead of PIN's digit.
